Revolution Intermedia Officially Launched January 1st 2008. It is our goal to present you with the finest local content of the greater Portland Or. area. It is our aim to provide you with an online venue to showcase the best of performing entertainment. This presentation will include other celebrities and artists that come to the area. It is also important to provide you with information about local sites, events, venues and miscellaneous information so that you can understand why we think Portland is the best city in the world.

Our Name
Our name Revolution Intermedia was actually contrived one cold fall night prior to the launch of the site. We pondered for weeks to come up with something that would reflect not only our philosophies, but also what we would be presenting on our website. We think we found the perfect match.

The first part of our name Revolution has to do with our philosophy. We will leave that part for later. The second part of our name Intermedia, stands for the kind of media that is on our site. The word Intermedia actually means mixed media. As you can tell in our pages, we have just that! Some may argue that the word is not in the correct context to our website, but we decided that we like the name anyway.

Our Philosophy
Now, back to our first name - Revolution. The dictionary defines revolution as a radical and pervasive change in ways of thinking and behaving. Although we don't know how much effect we will actually have on society, we do hope that we will at least start a dialog on the way artists, performers, models and interactive media is exploited by large and greedy companies. In the last few years we have seen powerful cartels such as the RIAA, and the MPAA suing college students, single parents, and everyday people for sharing videos and content. This has turned public opinion against these established regimes, and we couldn't be happier! Not only do we believe in sharing great music, videos and photos, but we encourage it. Our whole purpose is to have you share with others what you see on these pages. Share and Enjoy!
